Meet Dr. Elena, Endodontist
Dr. Elena Andronova specialized in Endodontics at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. She is a proud Trojan. Prior to finding her passion in endodontics, Dr. Elena holds qualification of Physician in Dentistry, diploma with honors from one of the top Russian Universities. Also, she received professional training for Prosthetic Dentistry from the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. After practicing for a number of years as a general dentist, she moved to the United States. Along with renowned endodontist, Martin Levin, she contributed to the preparation of a chapter for Ingle’s Endodontics textbook, 7th edition.
Dr. Elena also worked as a research assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Dentistry in the Department of Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Operative Dentistry. She is former Affiliate Assistant Professor at University of Washington. Dr. Elena believes in working closely with referring doctors, providing clear communication with referring dentists and staff, full dedication to her patients, and solid team effort for the ultimate support of patients in her office. She is a true believer that endodontics requires non-stop continuing education, so regularly attends expert courses in her pursuit of excellence. As an endodontist, Dr. Elena is continually expanding her horizons and finding new ways to be creative in her profession. She translates these techniques and skills to her everyday treatment of patients. Thanks to her life experiences, multicultural background, and professional training, Dr. Elena brings a unique touch to her dental practice. She is known by her patients for her ability to soothe their dental anxieties and to put them at ease. Most of her patients fall asleep during the root canal procedure! She is fluent in English, Russian, Belorussian, beginner in Spanish.
Dr. Elena is a member of American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Washington State Dental Association, and serving as an executive council at Seattle-King County Dental Society
Outside of dentistry and endodontics, Dr. Elena enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, photography, traveling, acrylic painting on canvas, swimming, yoga, bike riding and playing the piano.
